Bisha – Winter
As a part of our recurring creative content package with Toronto’s Bisha Hotel, August Media was tasked with dreaming up and capturing late winter and early spring-appropriate content for their social media channels. In this shoot, we made use of the Bisha Suite, the hotel’s stylish presidential suite designed by Lenny Kravitz’s Kravitz Design. After capturing both floors of this exclusive room, our team moved on to Akira Back, the famous Japanese-Korean fusion namesake restaurant of Michelin-starred chef Akira Back. Food photography and lifestyle photography were combined in this portion of the shoot, showcasing the multifaceted nature of the hotel itself. Finally, our team captured the main floor of the hotel, including the lobby, and sleek Mister C. Bar Room, where the entertainment district vibe of the hotel really shone.
Because the Bisha Suite’s 70s-influenced aesthetics stand alone from the rest of the hotel’s dark and polished interiors, our moodboard sought to combine the two in an editorial-style story. Golden hues were picked up in the styling, to reflect the metallics featured in all the spaces. Black and jewel tones became the secondary shades, mimicking the richness of the wall treatments, the vibrant food and drink props, and the dramatic lighting that appears throughout the hotel.
